NEWS– The Police in Kiruhura District are investigating a fatal accident that claimed the life of one person.
It is said that accident happened during the Mbarara Motor Rally on 25th January Saturday morning.
The crash on the Kanyaryeru-Sanga road at 10 a.m. claimed the life of Moses Ssebugulu, a spectator from Mukono District.
According to police, rally driver Orion Tumwebaze lost control of his Toyota Altezza, registration UAW 934C after hitting a hump and struck the victim.
Ssebugulu was taken to Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
