Man remanded for forging academic documents in Rukungiri

Court in Rukungiri presided over by grade one magistrate Hamidah Namukasa has sent on remand Beyongyera Ripon for forging academic papers of rukungiri institute of management and having presented them at Kitagata hospital andvolunteered for sometime as a records officer.

Beyongera Ripon resident of Rukundo Kitagata town council forged a diploma certificate of Rukungiri institute of management where he has never attended any single lecture and when appeared before court he accepted to have forged academic documents.

 In her ruling the grade one magistrate said he has not wasted courts time and therefore should be sent to prison for 2yrs or pay 300k uganda shillings.

Radio Rukungiri contacted the hospital administrators Kitagata Mr Muhanguzi Derrick who confirmed that Beyongyera Ripon volunteered at the hospital for sometimes and later left.

Speaking to Radio Rukungiri,the director Rukungiri institute of management Mr Kamugisha also denied any knowledge of Beyongyera Ripon of being a student at Rukungiri institute of management.
