KABALE-Police in Kabale are investigating a fire out break that burnt a timber workshop this afternoon at Bugongi in northern division Kabale municipality .
Properties worth 80 million Ugx were destroyed.
The timber workshop belongs to; Alex Nuwagaba, Patrick Ndamira and Joseph Mukasa whose property that include; timber, furniture, machine and other materials were destroyed .
Elly Maate kigezi regional police spokesperson confirmed the incident noting that property worth 80million ugx was destroyed although the rescue services swiftly responded and put it off before it spread to other neighboring structures.
Maate says that Fortunately, there wasn’t any person injured and the cause has been established as sort sacket due to machines which were left on power without any person in attendance.
