NEWS- Residents of Nyaruharo cell, Kyatoko ward, eastern division Rukungiri municipality now heave a sigh of relief after their source of water was given a facelift by the Rukungiri Municipality Member of Hon. Dr. Elisa Rutahigwa.
The legislator commissioned this mechanized water spring to help provide good drinking water for the residents in the area who have been faced with a challenge unsafe water sources.
A section of residents including Annet Twebaze and David Tumwebaze , their water spring was too old and could nolonger provide them with clean and safe water.
The residents added that they have been trekking long distances in search of clean and safe water which they would also share with animals on dams posing health threats to their lives.
They are therefore grateful to Hon. Dr. Elisa Rutahigwa for coming in to give a facelift to their source and pledged to reward him back by supporting him in the forthcoming elections.

While commissioning the water spring, Hon. Dr. Elisa Rutahigwa assured residents that he will keep working in their interest having given him the mandate to serve.
Rutahigwa noted that he has people’s interests at heart and will thrive to bring more developmental projects to Rukungiri municipality residents.
The MP hailed residents for giving in a hand during this construction and asked them to take good care of this spring so that it can last for a long time.
