RUKUNGIRI- Counsel Isaac Atukunda, the Rukungiri Municipality hopeful Member of Parliament has asked old students to keep in touch with their former schools and give them due support.

Atukunda noted that former schools made most people what they are today, thus have the responsibility to keep in touch with them and also participate in their development programs.

He made the revelation yesterday while he officiated at the fundraising towards the construction of three classrooms, six stance-latrine and purchase of computers at Kyatoko Primary School in Eastern division Rukungiri municipality.

Counsel Isaac Atukunda explained that individuals should work together to raise the educational standards of the next generation rather than having the pitiful belief that the government is the only entity that needs to support their schools.
