RUKUNGIRI- Christians have been called upon to ensure steadfastness in prayer to strengthen their relationship with God if they are to overcome earthly challenges.
The message was delivered yesterday Rev Musinguzi Amos the vicar All Saints Church, during the farewell ceremony of lay reader Tumutegyereize Hanington who has been transferred to Rukondo Parish under Rujumbura archdeaconry.
Rev Musinguzi urged the congregation to rely on prayer and maintain strong faith to build enduring relationships with God and others, especially during difficult times.
Archdeacon Dickson Kakanyisa of Rujumbura Archdeaconry expressed gratitude to Lay Reader Hannington for his exemplary work, strong faith, and patience.

Senior Warden Moses Muhwezi also noted that the outgoing lay reader was faithful, dedicated and loved Christians.
Tumutegyereize Hanington served as Lay reader at All Saints Church for three years. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to the congregation for their support and cooperation in spreading revival. He acknowledged his transfer as a divine calling to serve God’s people in Rukundo.
He pledged to continue uplifting the youths, fellowships and intercessions.
