NEWS– Tears have engulfed members of the Catholic Church in Uganda and the whole world as Rev. Fr. Wycliff Byamugisha loses life in a nasty accident.
The now late Rev. Fr. Wycliff Byamugisha was a curete and a priest at Nyabukikye Center Catholic Church in Ibanda District under the Mbarara archdiocese.
Byamugisha tragically died this afternoon in a road accident Kabagomba , Igorora along the Mbarara-Ibanda highway.
Known for his deep faith and dedication to his congregation, Fr. Byamugisha’s sudden death has left the Catholic community in mourning.
A still fresh and youthful cleric, Rev. Fr. Byamugisha who hails from Kashekuro in Shema district was ordained a priest in July 2018.
