NEWS– The opposition National Unity Platform is set to conduct prayers in memory of the 18th and 19th November 2020 lost lives.
Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu aka Bobi wine the party President, the party members and other well wishers will in 18th November 2024 morning converge at the party headquarters in Makerere-Kavule to pray for, and remember their fellow citizens who lost lives between 18th and 19th November, 2020.
According to Bobi Wine, in the above mentioned two ‘dark days’, the Museveni regime shot and killed over 150 Ugandans in cold blood.
“Four years later, there has been no justice for the victims of the heinous crimes”, he lamented.
He noted that yet they remain hopeful that one day there will be accountability for all crimes committed against the people of Uganda.
The NUP Principal noted that each year, they meet to pray for the souls of those who departed, comfort their families and amplify their demand for accountability and justice.
