NEWS-The public has been urged to always spread God’s gospel wherever they are regardless of their religious affiliation if to we are to have well behaved and organized societies.
This was revealed by the North Kigezi diocese caretaker Rt. Rev. Bishop Patrick Tugume Tusingwire while consecrating the Sanctuary of St. Luke Church of Uganda Rugarama that is under Nyabitete Archdeaconry in Buyanja sub county Rukungiri district.
Bishop Tugume requested those who are spreading the gospel with the intention of getting money from people and churches to humble themselves before God so that he forgives them.
Bishop Tugume added that some people have failed to play the roles and responsibilities they’re assigned to in explaining that wherever anyone is, God calls and expects us to fulfill his reason for creating us.
Kabeeho Dan Kanyabubaare head of laity St. Luke Church of Uganda Rugarama narrated to the congregation that they have been facing hard times before the consecrating of this Church narrating that they are now able to carry out different church activities including wedding couples, baptisms.
Since the Church has been consecrated, Kabeeho called upon Anglicans to come and participate in different activities of their church for its development.
Over Ugx 4.5M was raised at the function to help in the renovation of the church that started in 1952 by an area resident only identified as Nyimomo.
