NEWS– As per the 2024 UBOS report, the youth carry the highest percentage of Uganda’s population and therefore need to be properly handled and guided if we are have a bright future country.
As part of the above, the Western Youth member of parliament hopeful Hon. Eunice Ashaba has tipped youth in Western region and the whole country on their role in the development of their communities.
The young, energetic, vibrant Ashaba notes that the youth have a very big role to play in developing their communities as well as shaping their own future.
Among many, Eunice Ashaba encouraged the youth to embrace government policies, involve themselves in agriculture, have healthy movements and engagements and also also civic embracement.
She also highlighted on the significance of the youth to ensure social progress, advocate for beneficial policies, foster the sense of ownership and empowerment.
The aspiring MP urged the youth to study hard and learn new skills as well as enlightenment of their social life.
Eunice Ashaba aims at love driven progress and transformative unity which she says will steer development among the youth.
