NEWS– The leaders in Ankole sub-region have reaffirmed their support to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa.
This was in the afternoon of Wednesday 26th February 2025 in an event held at Bushenyi grounds in Bushenyi district.
Leaders at different levels from the Ankole sub-region had gathered at Bushenyi Grounds for their interaction with President Museveni as part of the ongoing Presidential PDM Zonal Tours in the region.
The leaders used the opportunity to unanimously endorse President Museveni as the NRM’s sole candidate for 2026.
Rt. Hon. Thomas Tayebwa Bangyirana, the Deputy speaker of parliament revealed that this endorsement reaffirms their support for President Museveni’s continued leadership of the country.
He noted that the NRM government under the able leadership of H.E. YK Museveni remains committed to ensuring the development of people at all levels across the country.
