36 bailed FDC Katonga faction members reaffirm commitment to struggle for change

NEWS– The 36 members of the Forum for Democratic Change FDC Katonga faction have reaffirmed their commitment to the struggle for change.

This was in an event held on Monday 18th November 2024 at the Katonga road People’s Front for Freedom PFF party headquarters.

During the event, the 36 members who were arrested in Kisumu, Kenya shared their harrowing ordeal.

The PFF symposium was graced by newly elected Uganda Law Society President Isaac Ssemakadde the President of Uganda Law Society as the guest speaker.

Lord Mayor Elias Lukwago who also doubles as the PFF interim leader expressed his profound gratitude to Isaac Ssemakadde for gracing the symposium on the state of Rule of Law, Constitutionalism and civil liberties.

He thanked Semakadde for his submission and unequivocal commitment to partnering with all justice-seeking forces without any scintilla of hesitation which he said was quite captivating and reassuring.

Lukwago similarly thanked the Kisumu-36 colleagues who recounted harrowing stories of endurance for the 104 days of incarceration after kidnap from Kisumu, and for staying the course.
