NEWS– A total of 25 people from Duty-free store scheme have been trained fire prevention safety preparedness and response.
This was in a training conducted on Tuesday 10th December 2024 by the Directorate of Fire and Rescue Services.
The training which focused on fire prevention, safety preparedness, and response was held at the Directorate’s headquarters in Nsambya
The training aimed to equip personnel with essential knowledge on fire prevention, causes of fire, and evacuation procedures.
Commissioner of Police Ogwal Amai Peter, who is in charge of the Duty-Free Store Scheme commended the Directorate for the training and encouraged them to conduct regular training sessions across the Uganda Police Force.
