In a spirited gathering at the sub-county headquarters, Hon. Arthur Kazoora officially launched his manifesto and campaign, promising to enhance service delivery for the people of Ruhinda South. Addressing a large audience, Kazoora emphasized his commitment to improving healthcare, job creation, education, water access, and infrastructure development.

Kazoora, an aspiring Member of Parliament, outlined his vision to transform healthcare services in the region. He expressed his intent to elevate Health Center II facilities to Health Center III standards and further promote Health Center IIIs to Health Center IVs. “Access to quality medical care is a fundamental right that we must ensure for all our citizens,” he stated, vowing to prioritize healthcare upgrades.

In addition to healthcare, Kazoora identified job creation as a key focus. He pledged to develop programs aimed at providing opportunities for the youth, who he noted often struggle to find employment after their parents invest in their education. “We must create avenues for our young people to thrive rather than face unemployment after school,” he affirmed.

Kazoora also spoke passionately about improving education in both public and private institutions. He highlighted the alarming situation at Mayanga Primary School, which recorded only one child in first grade last year. He promised to collaborate with the government to recruit qualified teachers who can implement effective teaching strategies and elevate student performance.

Water access remains a pressing challenge in Ruhinda South, and Kazoora assured residents that he would work diligently to ensure every village has reliable access to clean water. “We cannot afford to ignore this basic necessity,” he insisted.

Infrastructure was another area of concern; Kazoora pledged to address poor road conditions, enhancing connectivity and promoting economic growth within the region. Additionally, he announced plans to attract more industries to Ruhinda South, which he believes will generate jobs and provide essential skills training.

Kazoora expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support he received during the last National Resistance Movement (NRM) primaries, where he emerged victorious. He called on the community to lend their support once more in the upcoming General Elections.

As he prepares to compete against incumbent MP Hon. Dononzio Mugaabe Kahonda and Capt. Benjamin Kamukama, Kazoora’s campaign promises to be a significant aspect of the electoral race, shaping the future of Ruhinda South.
