In a commendable act of community support, Centenary Bank’s Rukungiri Branch donated 300 kg of maize flour and 150 kg of beans to the newly established Bikurungu Seed School.

This event took place on Wednesday, March 4th at the school, located in Bikurungu Town Council, just 16 days after it commenced operations.

Bikurungu Seed School has quickly attracted over 150 students from Senior One to Senior Three, offering education to both boys and girls under government support.

The bank’s contribution aims to address immediate food needs, aiding students as they settle into their new educational environment.

“Bikurungu Seed is close to our hearts. We’ve been involved from the very beginning, helping with groundwork and supporting contractors,” he said.

Kasaija also mentioned that when approached for assistance, he immediately agreed, reinforcing the bank’s mission to enhance community welfare while promoting government initiatives.
