This significant appeal comes just ahead of the Bishop’s 3rd anniversary Thanksgiving and the farewell for Archbishop Dr. Steven Kazimba Mugalu, scheduled for Sunday, March 15th.
Speaking to a gathering of local media, Bishop Asiimwe shared that his personal commitment to accountability stems from the responsibilities entrusted to him. He announced plans for a Thanksgiving ceremony, which he sees as a way to showcase his accountability to the community he serves. This year’s celebration is particularly significant, as it will also serve as a farewell tribute to Archbishop Mugalu, who has been a steadfast leader within the Church of Uganda.
